New in EHP: Health effects of manure irrigation
Farmers in Wisconsin and in many other states are increasingly embracing the practice of manure irrigation to fertilize their fields. Spraying liquid manure on fields offers multiple environmental benefits, but it may also pose a threat to the health and well-being of people nearby.
