Two new articles in EHP
They come in bunches, don't they? At least pairs. Here's a pair of stories I wrote on new research in the journal Environmental Health Perspectives. The first, published a few days ago and titled "What’s in the Mix? Improving Risk Assessment of Food Contact Materials," addresses the question of how best to assess and prevent chemical contamination of food -- a complex issue I've covered many times before. The second, published today and titled, "Another Potential Risk Factor for ALS: Exposure to Traffic-Related Air Pollutants," covers a research paper suggesting that air pollution may be a significant risk factor in ALS, or Lou Gehrig's Disease.
