New columns in Project CBD: Synthetic cannabinoids and endogenous DMT
My last two articles for Project CBD tackle subjects that are in a way polar opposites. The first, published on July 27, covers synthetic cannabinoids, lab-created chemicals designed to target the endocannabinoid system (typically for research purposes) that can reproduce aspects of the cannabis-derived high but also often pose significant dangers when abused recreationally. The second, published on August 10, covers the enduring mystery of endogenous DMT, a highly potent psychedelic drug (when properly used) derived from plants that is also produced in small concentrations in the mammalian brain. Enjoy!
