Debut "Petaluma Nature Almanac" column for the Argus-Courier
I've been reading the Petaluma Argus-Courier for 11 years and freelancing for more than 20, but it wasn't until this week that the two finally met.
My first "Petaluma Nature Almanac" column (which will run monthly on the last Friday) debuts tomorrow. It's a Petaluma-focused spinoff of a related feature that I write for every issue of Sonoma Magazine. Both publications are locally and independently owned by Sonoma Media Investments.
My first column covers native vs non-native grasses in the surrounding fields and hills. It's called "The Grass Isn't Greener in August," and you can find it right here.
