New in Estuary News: Stormwater monitoring and climate change; drained islands in the Delta

My work as an editor and reporter for the Estuary News family continues...I think it's been almost a decade now. In addition to copyediting the October issue of Estuary News, I contributed an article addressing challenges posed by drought and climate change to long-running efforts to monitor pollutants in stormwater (runoff) flowing to the San Francisco Bay. I also wrote a shorter "Pearls" item in September on how pumping water off subsided islands could contribute excess nitrogen to Delta waters.
